Hello, my dad had a cold/flu (not swine flu) for a week and a half. I’m probably sure that his cold is gone (maybe not) but he keeps on coughing like every last 5 seconds… (Dad’s a smoker). Is there a probabality that he got Lung Cancer? I’m really worried.. My dad smokes like 4 or 5 cigars a day.. not the whole pack though…

I am in my 20s, a non smoker (though my parents smoked). I don’t get coughs often, but when i do, I get hacking and tickling coughs. And they seem to last alot longer than my husbands. I am worried this might mean I am ‘prone’ to lung cancer? Can’t find anything on this online. I’ve had chest xrays before and they are clear.

i am 17 and ever since i became a senior i smoke cigarettes and cigars on the weekends just at parties.
i inhale the cigars and cigarettes. your not suppose to while smoking gars i dont think, but im not a constant smoker, just at parties. i just would really like to know if i have cancer or how much longer till i get it. i know it is a juvenile act to smoke especially at my age and being a young lady but im just curious. any ideas?

My 72-year-old grandmother has been diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. The doctor says it is inoperable. She began radiation therapy this week (so far they have not said anything about chemo) she has been a smoker since the 1950′s and is currently still smoking. What are her chances of survival.

I had her 4 2 years and i’m older now.
I feel sick right now, she was that teacher everyone hates and makes fun of 24/7 and now were all just sick. I know she was a heavy smoker. can anyone tell me what what they know about lung cancer?

I feel disgusting. I want someone to yell at me. I spent 2 years making this womens life miserable. she has skin cancer too.
