well my dad had tuberculosis in his late 20s but recently died from small cell lung cancer.

i have small cell lung cancer,diagonosed in july this year,i have stage four extensive,it does’nt get any worse than that,i am 38 years old with a 9 year old daughter.Does anyone know if the drug ‘DCA’ could give me a better prognosis or a cure? as i am on my arse here,and if anyone could shed any light on the subject i would be very grateful. cheers Maria

I have just been told recently by the doctors that I have non small cell lung cancer and am in the 3rd or 4th stage. I need some words of encouragement from people who have won the battle over this terrible cancer. Thank you in advance.

My Mother has had small cell lung cancer for over a year now. The tumor is near her heart. She has had chemo and radiation and was told in October that neither is helping very much and she had only a few months to live.Her voice is hoarse and weak and she coughs to the point of vomiting sometimes but other than that she looks good. She has lost some weight but is still overweight and eats well.
