I am 16 years old and have only been smoking for around 2 years and I normally smoke a pack every 2 to 3 days. Although lately I’ve had cough not really a bad one but still. Also in the past month or so I’ve been sick with pneumonia which lasted around 2 weeks and now again I am running a fever with aches and a cough. Is it that its just my smoking with winter lowering my immune system thats making me sick or should I have x-rays?

I’ve had this cold for about three weeks now. First it was a slight fever, runny nose, etc. and then it just settled to the cough. I have classes with a lot of kids that smoke, and so I’m constantly heading past them to get into the theater. Anyway, what I was wondering, was is it possible to get lung cancer at 19 from breathing in secondhand smoke as you pass by friends during class?

He has dropped almost 50 pounds in 6 months and has had sleep apnea but this has went away. He is very weak and tired all the time. Problems and pain while sleeping at night. He has been dealing with the lymph nodes and chronic chest pain symptoms. There was a time when he had a severe cough that wouldn’t go away. He doesn’t like to go to the doctor, so when his doctor said that he needed another chest xray, he didn’t go. It’s been years since his last chest xray. He smoked for about 15 years, quit for a few years, started again, and now it’s been over a year since he last smoked. We believe that he’s afraid to hear that he has lung cancer because the Sarcoidosis has spread to his eyes, lungs, and now his bones. His eyes have gotten better, but he looks very sick. At night he breaks out in sweats, and my question is if this sounds like lung cancer or an advancement from Sarcoidosis? Has anyone else known someone’s Sarcoidosis to turn into lung cancer?

Just wondering. I’m a hypochondriac i’m 15 and supposedly have an allergen caused cough. I’m worried even though I shouldn’t. The cough has actually been going away a little with spring long gone :) but i’m still that little worry wart. What’s the youngest person to have developed lung cancer? With or without smoking. Please have something reliable.
