so I looked it up.
It said something about collapsed lung and possible asbestos exposure.

I kept saying that I coughed like an asbestosis patient.

For ppl who know of this ailment…tell me stuff like how long it takes to heal. I generally don’t heal quickly at all. So I am worried.
One lady told me to hold my breath for 10 sec…but I can only hold it 3 sec.
I’m on steriods, an inhailer, and a Z pac. I also have Atuss.

Help me understand what I have and make me "feel" better…

Hello, I recently helped remove a "popcorn" ceiling. We got it wet and simply scraped it off. It did get a bit dusty in there so there was some inhalation for only a few hours and I had a dust mask for about half the time maybe less. Is this an amount of asbestos exposure to be worried about? I am unsure of the age of the home
no no no there is not any immediate pain or anything emergency related just inhaled a bit of dust from workin a few days back and am wondering if it is something I should be concerned with.
I guess no one is reading the question properly >.< I’m not asking if it was asbestos I’m asking if it was which I don’t know if it is then how bad can the few hours of mild exposure be?
ok care bear so just a minor infection and that even has a small chance? I was worried that it would lead to mesothelioma, would once for a few hours of scraping a popcorn ceiling raise your risk factor that much?

There is natural asbestos in our community. We’ve lived our whole lives exposed to it and they’re hasn’t been any health concerns due to the asbestos.
And one of our local stores, KRL & GEN. STORE is suing our regional Corporation for 1 million dollars due asbestos exposure after years of business here. The asbestos was here before they came and took over that business from the previous owners.
I am asking this question because they cook 8 hours a day 6 days a week and they’re breathing in their own cooking oil that whole day and I wanted to know which is worse, breathing in cooking oil(with no fresh air) or almost harmless asbestos. (the owners are rarely outdoors either. You don’t see them fishing, hunting or out getting wood! I don’t think they’ve been outdoors long enough to have complications from the asbestos to sue! They’ve lived here for 15+ years and the only time they’re outdoors is when they’re getting on a plane or to the post office)

P.S IF YOU COME AND VISIT AMBLER DON’T EAT THEIR FOOD OR BUY THEIR SUPPLIES. THEIR BURGER’S ARE UNDERCOOKED, FRIES ARE ALMOST BURT AND WHO KNOWS HOW OFTEN THEY CHANGE THEIR COOKING OIL! They sell over a year expired stuff; soda, canned foods, frozen’s, etc. and they don’t sell their Sh*t cheap either, they are the most expensive store in town; .50 for a can of expired pop and .35 for a candy bar!

The house we live in was built in the 50s and a section of the (attached) garage ceiling broke a few months back. This section is now exposed (to attic) and keeps crumbling. We have our house gym in this garage and I am wondering what is our risk of asbestos exposure here. We have not worked out here for several months but have our dryer in the same room so we are occasionally in the room. Are we exposed to asbestos? Can we test the room for presence/levels? How much is enough exposure, can we go back to working out here? and how can we test ourselves if possible. Is this dust going in the house vent?
Thank you in advance for your help.

P.S.Thankfully, we will be moving out in a couple of months.

10 ounces or more of phlem at one time. Sometimes in one huge hunk.?????

Triggered by a tickle in my throat.

I don’t smoke or drink. But I lived with a smoker 25 years. And he had asbestos exposure most of my life.
